City of Snohomish's NEW Utility Billing System

The City implemented a new utility billing system beginning March 1, 2019. The new system gives customers improved online services for managing utility bills.

With the new system customers have been assigned NEW account numbers. Information related to the new billing system and payment options has been posted to the City’s website and sent to customers in their bills.

Customers that previously used Paymentus will no longer be able to use that service.

Customers who wish to pay online via debit/credit card/e-check will be required to set up a new account on the City's new payment website. Here customers will continue receiving certain benefits, such as automatic or recurring payments. You can now also register to receive utility bills electronically!

Of course, customers may still pay their bill by mailing a check or by paying in-person at City Hall with cash, check, debit or credit. There is also a payment box located on the south side of City Hall for after hours payments.

Customers may also pay by phone at 1-833-501-5730 with their NEW account number.

Please be sure you are using the correct mailing address for the City when mailing utility payments. Any customer that uses a bank online bill pay system must update the mailing address with their own bank. All mailed payments and bank initiated online payments must be mailed to: City of Snohomish, P.O. Box 1589, Snohomish, WA 98291-1589. It will be important that customers also update and reference their NEW account number when sending payments without the billing remittance stub, or if they utilize the bank bill pay systems. **Reminder: schedule your bank payment 5-7 days prior to the due date to ensure it arrives in a timely manner. Payments received after the due date are subject to a late fee.

To have additional update information on the new utility billing system sent to you via email or text, customers can subscribe to Notify Me and choose the NEW Utility Billing System-2019 list on the City of Snohomish website.
