Snohomish Business Bulletin is the City of Snohomish's new monthly newsletter for local businesses. The goals of this newsletter are to share news from the City, provide timely updates on City projects, amplify messages from our economic development partners, and connect businesses to resources. The Snohomish Business Bulletin will be sent out on the first Tuesday of every month and archived on our website. We welcome your feedback! City of Snohomish welcomes Mayor Aaron Hoffman and City Administrator Ken Klein
Aaron Hoffman took office as Mayor of Snohomish on January 1 and the Snohomish City Council confirmed his appointment of Ken Klein to the City Administrator position on January 6. Welcome, Mayor Hoffman and City Administrator Klein!

Snohomish City Council lowers Second Street speed limit from 30 to 25 MPH
The Snohomish City Council voted 6-0 to lower the speed limit on Second Street from 30 to 25 MPH at their January 6 meeting, with the change taking effect January 16. Felix Neals elected President by Snohomish City Council The Snohomish City Council unanimously elected Felix Neals, who was appointed to City Council in 2020 and won election to Position 3 in 2021, to be City Council President at their January 20 meeting. Council President Neals' term runs through December 31, 2027. Boundary Review Board approves North Lake annexation On January 20, the Boundary Review Board of Snohomish County approved the City of Snohomish's annexation of the North Lake subarea within our urban growth area (UGA). Using the state’s Interlocal Agreement (ILA) method, the City of Snohomish and Snohomish County collaboratively established the annexation boundaries. Learn more. Lodging Tax Grant Application Opens Monday, February 16 Do you have a project designed to bring visitors to Snohomish? You may be eligible for grant funding from the City of Snohomish Lodging Tax Grant Program! This program is funded by lodging taxes on stays within Snohomish city limits. Applicants may request up to $10,000 in funding. The application opens Monday, February 16 and closes Sunday, February 15 at 11:59 PM. _______________________________________________________

Need-To-Know NumbersFacts and figures about the City of Snohomish, its business community, and economic development. 2025 Snohomish Microsite Campaign Recap With support from Snohomish County, the City of Snohomish recently completed a four-month tourism promotion campaign highlighting the Snohomish "microsite" within the larger Discover Snohomish County website. Key results include: - Google ads
- 242,802 impressions
- 11,183 clicks
- 4.61% click-through rate (CTR, right around industry benchmark)
- $0.57 cost per click (CPC, 63% below industry benchmark)
- Meta ads
- 160,326 impressions
- 3,620 clicks
- 2.26% CTR (151% above industry benchmark)
- $0.32 CPC (49% below industry benchmark)
Overall, the campaign met or exceeded industry benchmarks for efficiency. The City has also been awarded Snohomish County grant funding for another campaign in 2026.
