Snohomish City Council to consider First Street Master Plan
The First Street Advisory Committee reviewed a draft of the First Street Master Plan and identified a preferred design concept at their February 18 meeting. The draft will be presented to the Snohomish City Council at their March 3 meeting (tonight!) for further consideration. After City Council reviews the draft, it will return to the Advisory Committee for revisions. The Advisory Committee will make a final recommendation at their March 18 meeting, with City Council tentatively scheduled to vote on final adoption of the plan in April. Meeting agendas for both the First Street Advisory Committee and Snohomish City Council are available in our Agenda Center. For questions or comments, please email masterplan@snohomishwa.gov.

Do you have a project designed to bring visitors to Snohomish? You may be eligible for grant funding from our Lodging Tax Grant Program! This program is funded by tax revenue from lodging stays in Snohomish city limits. Applicants may request up to $10,000 in funding, although full funding is rare. The application closes Sunday, March 15 at 11:59 PM. Our February newsletter erroneously stated that the application was scheduled to close February 15. We regret the error!
