The City is working to address concerns by residents in the Terrace Ave. and 16th St.neighborhood to improve the intersection and roadway. The current roadways presentmany challenges, including:

  • Pavement width of Terrace Ave. and 16th Street width limits the space for non-motorizedusers (e.g. pedestrians, bicyclists) at the intersection.
  • Widening the pavement or constructing sidewalk will impact the driveways and frontyards of homes.
  • 16th St. east of Pine Ave. does not have a designated non-motorized facility.
  • Pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists are forced to share the road due to narrowpavement width.
