Project Purpose

Construction of intersection enhancements from two-way stop controlled to signalized intersection for increasing level-of-service (LOS) and turning movement safety.

Intersection of Bickford Avenue and Weaver Road.

Project Objectives

Install new traffic signals for a four (4) way intersection including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible ramps, pedestrian push buttons, street signs, and vehicle detection devices.

Project Timeline

The project is anticipated to advertise for bids in June 2025 with construction beginning July and ending prior to end of 2025 year.

No roads nor the Bickford Ave and Weaver Road intersection will be completely closed.

Yes, there will be traffic delays due to traffic control in place to route vehicles around the work site.
