The Second Street and Maple Avenue project will replace the intersection's southwest traffic signal pole that was damaged by a vehicle in 2024.

What to expect

The Second Street and Maple Avenue Traffic Signal Replacement project is expected to take two (2) days of work in the intersection to remove the existing pole and install the new traffic signal. A uniformed police office will direct vehicles as part of the required traffic control for this work. There are no changes to the existing signal configuration, channelization, or signal timing.

The project includes new signal lights for vehicles and pedestrians, push buttons for pedestrian crossings, detection camera, and street sign.

The awarded Contractor is Service Electric Co., Inc. with bid amount of $66, 339.64.
