A Notice of Decision is issued today for the North Sewer Trunkline Project Shoreline Substantial Development Permit (City File #SL23-0009). The proposal is to construct a sanitary sewer trunkline segment to divert wastewater flows from the northeast area of the City to the Cemetery Creek Trunkline to the west and decommission the Casino Royale and Bonneville Pump Stations. The project includes construction of approximately 3,700 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe at depths between 10 inches and 35 feet. The project will provide capacity in the sewer collection system to support development in the urban growth area north of the current City limits and in the portion of the North Planning Area south of US 2. One parcel associated with this project is located along the north shoreline of Blackmans Lake. Visit the Self-Service Permit Portal to view the Planning Director’s Decision, Notice of Decision, and other documents related to the proposal.
