A SEPA Determination of Non-Significance is issued for the Residential Parking Code Amendment. This is a non-project action to amend Chapter 14.235 SMC, Off-Street Parking, Loading, and Access Requirements, to revise standards applying to residential development in response to recent legislation (SB 6015). The proposal will reduce the standard parking stall width for residential development from 8.5 feet to 8 feet, allow a limited amount of pre-existing, legally established gravel surfacing in residential redevelopments, and allow tandem parking for all residential developments. The amendment does not alter parking regulations for non-residential development. City File #SEPA24-0034.
