2. Proclamation Request Criteria:
   1. All requests must be received a minimum of 60 days prior to issue date.
   2. Proclamations will be read at a City Council meeting, which occur every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6 PM in the Snohomish Carnegie Building, and will be posted to the website.
   3. Proclamations are not annually renewed. Requests must be resubmitted annually. 
   4. Only requests from a Snohomish city resident, business, organization, or group will be considered. This includes requests from national, international, and out-of-state causes and organizations. 
   5. All requests must include complete draft language and necessary background information.
   6. The Mayor reserves the right to approve or decline any request and make any necessary edits to content prior to final issuance.
   7. The issuance of a proclamation does not imply endorsement from the Mayor, Mayor's Office, or the City of Snohomish 
   8. Duplicate or similar requests may be combined or declined.
   9. Requests related to political issues, ideological or religious beliefs, or individual convictions will be declined.
