Applicants Sought for Snohomish Public Safety Commission

 Applicants are being sought to fill two (2) vacancies on the City of Snohomish Public Safety Commission. The applications are due to the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020.  Please apply online or contact City Clerk Pat Adams for application information.

 The Public Safety Commission member term runs for four years. The Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the Chief of Police.  The Commission reviews law enforcement priorities, the coordination of Neighborhood Watch and related public safety matters. 

 The Commission’s membership shall consist of residents of the City or owners of businesses located within the corporate City limits.  All City board and commission members are volunteers serving without compensation.

 The vacancies were created by the resignations of Merle Kirkley and BJ Myers.  The selected appointees’ terms will begin immediately upon City Council confirmation of the Mayor’s appointment.

The City Clerk's office provides two formats for the Boards and Commissions Application form. You can download and print a hard copy to return to the City Clerk via USPS, fax, scanned email attachment, or in person at City Hall. You can also submit your request electronically.
