Snohomish 101: Your Guide to City Government
Coming to the Snohomish Farmers Market in 2024!
When you hear the word “government”, you probably think of taxes or the president or Congress.
While the federal government is making big-picture decisions about the nation’s economy, international relations, and other aspects of our future, another branch of government is making choices that more immediately affect you: city government. From roads to water to parks to sewage to trees, the City of Snohomish works on many projects every day throughout the year that directly impact our residents, businesses, and visitors.
Snohomish 101 was designed to help everyone better understand three important things:
- How City government works
- What types of services the City provides
- How to engage with the City to make sure your voice is heard
Stop by our booth at the Snohomish Farmers Market to talk in person with City staff and elected officials (every Thursday in May through September from 3-7 p.m. in historic downtown Snohomish).
