Funding opportunities

Activate Snohomish - Community Activation Grants

  • Administered by Economic Alliance Snohomish County
  • Grant amount: $2,500 - $10,000
  • Eligible applicants: Nonprofits, chambers of commerce, cities, or community-based organizations 
  • Eligible uses: Public watch parties, tourism-focused marketing (maps, itineraries, printed guides), temporary art installations or signage, community corridor enhancements (flags, planters, temporary wayfinding)
  • Application deadline: Monday, December 1

Activate Snohomish - Small Business Grants

  • Administered by Economic Alliance Snohomish County
  • Grant amount: $1,000 - $5,000
  • Eligible applicants: Small businesses within Snohomish County
  • Eligible uses: Physical improvements (awnings, paint, signage), marketing and themed promotions, temporary staffing costs, hosting expenses for match-related events
  • Application deadline: Monday, December 1

Hotel-Motel Small Fund Grant Round 2 for 2026 Projects

  • Administered by Discover Snohomish County
  • Grant amount: $5,000 - $50,000 (historically)
  • Eligible applicants: Nonprofits and public agencies
  • Eligible uses: Projects that attract visitors to Snohomish County
  • Application deadline: Monday, December 15
